Riley Single Bunk Bed with Trundle

The Riley bunk belongs to the group of ‘high line’ bunks, which stand a little over 1.6 meters off the ground, and afford around 11cm extra headroom when sitting on the bottom bunk. The Riley can be split into two separate beds, using the high end from the bottom bunk as the head and the lower end from the top as the foot.

Displaying the clean lines of a Federation style head and foot board, this bunk creates a feeling of space. Complying with Australian Standards, the Riley is simply a beautiful bunk to look at and if your looking for a bunk to last kids from a young age through to teenage years then this is the model.

The sturdy frame of this bunk is constructed from premium grade and sustainably harvested solid rubberwood in combination with quality medium density fibreboard . Reinforced joinery ensures structural integrity.

Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) is a widely used, engineered timber product made from wood fibres which are adhered together using heat and pressure. The result is an exceptionally strong, smooth panel which does not expand and contract when exposed to humidity as solid wood is prone to do. Consequently, MDF, when painted, makes a reliable, practical and attractive material from which to manufacture furniture or alternatively, an excellent core to support a premium finish.

Weight bearing elements of this piece, namely the legs of the bed, are made from solid Rubber wood.

Only non-toxic paint and/or sealers free of lead are used in the finish, phthalates and formaldehyde free. Our finishes are not only safe – they also create a smooth, low-sheen surface that is both robust and easy to clean.

The pre-drilled holes and internal bracket assembly system of ensure ease of assembly. Step by step instruction sheet details how even a novice can assemble one of our bunk beds.

The Riley Bunk can be configured for ladder on either side or end of bed.

Trundle Included: The single pullout trundle storage drawer is the perfect solution for kids sleepovers, spare bed for guests or to simply store kids toys or blankets. The trundle has pine slats with flat boards which can be placed over them to create the drawer.
