The sturdy frame of the Arendelle Kids Single bed is constructed from premium grade medium density fibreboard. Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) is a widely used, engineered timber product made from wood fibres which are adhered together using heat and pressure. The result is an exceptionally strong, smooth panel which does not expand and contract when exposed to humidity as solid wood is prone to do. Consequently, MDF, when painted, makes a reliable, practical and attractive material from which to manufacture furniture or alternatively, an excellent core to support a handsome veneer finish.

For strength and durability, Bedtime uses rolled bed slats made from engineered ply. This slat roll foundation supports the mattress so no mattress base is required. (Mattress is sold separately)

Bedtime only uses non-toxic paint and/or sealers free of lead, phthalates and formaldehyde on all its furniture products. Our finishes are not only safe – they also create a smooth, low sheen surface that is both robust and easy to clean.
