On any of our beds we suggest a choice of 2 mattresses both are high quality inner spring mattresses, the main difference is that the standard mattress has a metal edge guard to prevent sagging of edges whilst the premium version has additional comfort layers and has a full encasement foam box which locks the springs in place & prevents edge sag.

WE PURCHASED THE LITTLE SKIES SINGLE BUNK BED & TRUNDLE TO TRANSITION OUR 4YR OLD FROM A DOUBLE MONTESSORI FLOOR BED TO A SINGLE. INSTRUCTIONS ARE VERY SIMPLE TO FOLLOW. BUILT IT MYSELF IN 3.5HRS. VERY WELL MADE PRODUCT, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE BY OOTC. THE ONLY RECONMENDATION I WOULD SUGGEST IS PUTTING A SMALL LENGTH OF POOL NOODLE OVER THE ENTRY TO SOFTEN THE CLIMB IN AND OUT AND A COUPLE WOOD GRAIN LOOKING MOTION SENORS AT THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE STEPS JUST TO HELP THE LITTLE ONES CLIMB DOWN IN THE DARK.
