Our metal trundle bed is built from high strength quality steel with hand welded joinery.
Hand-welding can result in unique markings as well as changes in colour due to the heating and shaping of the steel. Subtle variations on colour, along with the individuality of each craftsman’s work ensure that no two pieces are identical.
For strength and durability we use poplar veneer spring comfort slats which clip into place to provide a strong support. No mattress base is required.
The colour of our metal trundles is achieved with a non-toxic coating of dry powder which is heated to form a smooth, even surface much more durable than conventional paint. This powder coat finish protects against heat and moisture and is resistant to changes in humidity.
Easy roll, fixed direction castors mean the trundle can glide back and forth from beneath the bed with ease.
Accommodates a standard size single mattress[no more than 200mm high].
We supply mattress’s to suit, please add as an extra above in either foam or inner spring.
