Our New England Bunk Bed is a well known member of the family, he’s strong, solid, dependable; but wait he’s now available in Grey.

Whilst federation style children’s furniture has been available for quite sometime, there’s a reason for this. It simply does not date nor go out of style, fitting equally well in a traditional or modern setting.

The sturdy frame of this bunk is constructed from premium grade and sustainably harvested solid Rubber wood in combination with quality medium density fibreboard. Reinforced joinery ensures structural integrity.

Often Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) is a misunderstood product. High quality, carefully sourced MDF is not only durable, safe and easily worked with; it ensures a stable, strong & smooth base product. Unlike its timber counterpart MDF is inert which means it is less likely to expand or contract when placed within a hot, humid or dry climate. These properties also enable it to be used for manufacturing or used as a base on which Premium finishes may be applied.

Base – Rolled bed slats manufactured from engineered ply. (Mattress is sold separately)

Only non-toxic paint and/or sealers free of lead are used in the finish, phthalates and formaldehyde free, this ensures a safe, hardy finish which is easy to wipe clean.

The pre-drilled holes and internal bracket assembly system of ensure ease of assembly. Step by step instruction sheet details how even a novice can assemble one of our bunk beds.

The New England Bunk ladder may be positioned in any corner, this bunk is not designed to be split into 2 individual beds.

For safety, mattress depth should not exceed 210mm on the top bunk. Bedtime’s 4 Star, or 5 Star mattress can be used on the top bunk.
