The Riley Double Single Bunk is our premium single over double bunk bed! The Riley bunk bed features a modern style head and foot board. The bunk can be separated into two beds or and used by itself or used as the combination allowing greater flexibility. The lean to ladder makes it easier to go up and down, also the ladder can be taken off during the day if needed to stop little brother or sister attempting to climb while playing in the room.
The pre-drilled holes and internal bracket assembly system of ensure ease of assembly. Step by step instruction sheet details how even a novice can assemble one of our bunk beds.
The sturdy frame of this bunk is constructed from premium grade and sustainably harvested solid rubberwood in combination with quality medium density fibreboard . Reinforced joinery ensures structural integrity.
Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) is a widely used, engineered timber product made from wood fibres which are adhered together using heat and pressure. The result is an exceptionally strong, smooth panel which does not expand and contract when exposed to humidity as solid wood is prone to do. Consequently, MDF, when painted, makes a reliable, practical and attractive material from which to manufacture furniture or alternatively, an excellent core to support a premium finish.
Weight bearing elements of this piece, namely the legs of the bed, are made from solid Rubber wood.
Only non-toxic paint and/or sealers free of lead are used in the finish, phthalates and formaldehyde free. Our finishes are not only safe – they also create a smooth, low-sheen surface that is both robust and easy to clean.
Optional Extra: The single pullout trundle storage drawer is the perfect solution for kids sleepovers, spare bed for guests or to simply store kids toys or blankets. The trundle has pine slats which create a bunk bed with storage by placing flat boards over them to create the drawer.

All our inner spring mattresses are guaranteed for 5 years and are of an exceptional quality & feel.
We suggest using a foam mattress in the trundles.
