The sturdy frame of the Studio white single bunk bed is constructed from premium grade and sustainably harvested solid rubberwood in combination with quality medium density fibreboard . Reinforced joinery ensures structural integrity.

Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) is a widely used, engineered timber product made from wood fibres which are adhered together using heat and pressure. The result is an exceptionally strong, smooth panel which does not expand and contract when exposed to humidity as solid wood is prone to do. Consequently, MDF, when painted, makes a reliable, practical and attractive material from which to manufacture furniture or alternatively, an excellent core to support a handsome veneer finish.

Weight bearing elements of this piece, namely the legs of the bed, are made from solid Rubber wood.

For strength and durability, Bedtime uses rolled bed slats made from engineered ply. This slat roll foundation supports the mattress so no mattress base is required. (Mattress is sold separately)

Bedtime only uses non-toxic paint and/or sealers free of lead, phthalates and formaldehyde on all its furniture products. Our finishes are not only safe – they also create a smooth, low-sheen surface that is both robust and easy to clean.

The top bunk is not recommended for children 9 years old or younger.

For safety, mattress depth should not exceed 200mm on the top bunk.

Compatible with matching Trundle.

This bunk is not designed to be split into 2 individual beds.

Self-assembly required. We recommend the use of two people.
